Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see?

I see a crazy woman outside of her car a couple hundred yards away taking pictures of ME!!!
Saw my first brown (grizzly) bears EVER tonight!   These are young bears, there were 3 total. They are amazing creatures.  If you compare these pictures, to the pictures of the black bears I've posted earlier you can see a huge difference in body shape.  Remember that "black" bears can be any color, including a cinnamon and brown color, but the color isn't what distinguishes them.
The American black bear is Ursus americanus and is better known as the Kenai black bear, Louisian black bear, Glacier Bear, etc.  The Brown Bear is Ursus arctos and better known as California grizzly bear, Grizzly bear, Kodiak bear among others.  There is a great website that explains the differences here
We will call this guy Bear "A"  he is a young bear, probably a year old, We didn't see Mama around, but she couldn't have been very far off.

We will call these two guys Bear "B" & "C" -  they are probably 2 years old.  They were foraging together, and Bear "A" was off in a different area.

Bear "C" giving me the once over.

Bear "A" up on hindquarters -  I was so excited when he raised up.  Isn't he Magnificent!!!!

Back down on all fours and looking for more food.  He ran away shortly after I took this photo.
